Girl Talk!

Mark your calendars for March 17th! ! Mrs. Deborah Sutton is going to be sharing with us about what Christ has done in her life specifically through her battle with breast cancer. Most of us probably heard her share with our church family. I know every heart was stirred in awe of how mighty the hand of God is! Mrs. Debbie will be sharing with us more in-depth about this journey.
We will meet at Aubrey's at 6 pm. Please feel free to bring something to munch on! Look forward to seeing you all. This is one meeting you will not want to miss!

Retreat

Last weekend is one I will cherish. It was so encouraging to come together and share what the Lord has done. Stories of forgiveness, redemption, and rescue flowed freely among us. Digging deeper into each others' lives is what this bible study gathering has always been about. I'm so thankful that God has brought this group of young women together for such a time as this. God's word instructs us to "carry each other's burdens and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ" Galations 6:2. What a blessing to be able to come alongside you and pray with you, rejoice with you, laugh with you and cry with you. And all of this is for His glory!

Fellowship At The Lake

Who's up for a bit of a break in the midst of the Winter Doldrums?? Mark it on your calendar, girls, because we are off on an over-nighter!

What:
A time of fellowship and sharing personal testimonies.

When:
Leave on Friday, February 18 around 3:30 from WHBC (childcare will be available in the nursery until 5:30!!!)
Return on Saturday, February 19 after dinner.

Where:
The Freeman's lake house on Smith Lake in Cullman, AL

How Much:
The price per person will be set by how many of us go. Figure between $10 & $20. We NEED you to RSVP as soon as possible!!

January meeting

We hope you've had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! We are going to start back with our meetings, our first one of the year being on Jan. 20th! Mrs. Kaye McFarlen will be sharing with us that Thursday night at 6 pm at Aubrey's house.
Aubrey will be serving Chicken Enchilada soup, so if anyone is interested in bringing something sweet and something to drink that'd be great!
We are looking forward to catching up with everyone! See you on the 20th!

December Cookie and Goodie Swap!

Okay girls, pull out your recipe books for our December Cookie and Goodie Swap Thursday, Dec. 16th at 6:30 pm at Aubrey Freeman's house! Just whip up a batch a sweet goodies, print out a few copies of the recipes, bring both with you and be prepared to fill your bellies with lots of homemade treats. So, mark your calendars and bring a friend! We look forward to seeing you!

No Meet November

Just wanted to touch base with you all and let you know we will not be meeting this month. November is in full swing and every one's weeks are booking up. But plan to be a part of our cookie swap in mid December! We will be sending more details on that very soon!

What is a cookie swap? Just bake some cookies, print out several copies of the recipe and bring both with you! This way, everyone will be able to enjoy home-made goodies with the recipe to boot!
